Easy Diets: Staying Healthy on the Go

Easy Diets: Staying Healthy in College

Time spent at college is about a fast and busy life which is detrimental to our health; hard to live by when trying to go for easy diets. Living on the go, health isn't always the first and most important choice. Healthy choices are also sometimes considered expensive, money that a college student wants to save. Fast food is almost always the first choice since its cheap and is available in our just outside of campus, but most of you already know that this isn't the best healthy option out there. I recommend to try to stop eating out often and try to make some homemade meals, such as a BLT sandwich or salad with some tuna and vinaigrette. For those college students who are looking for a more... meaty and still healthy meal. Try to obtain rotisserie chicken from your local market and eat the breast without the skin, you can even mix this in your salad. A bag of salad and one rotisserie chicken can last you for two or three days, saving you some money and a stomachache from fast food. My personal preference for a cheap meal which can conquer my fast food cravings is a nice tuna and mayo sandwich and a glass of water or lemonade. I do not recommend to go on an easy diet while in college, since life is so hectic - you might lose control of your nutrition and plummet.

Easy Diets: Staying Healthy and Light Cardio for a Busy Life

One of the most important ingredients for this type of lifestyle are eggs. More specifically, egg whites. They contain a ton of protein and although they can't stop cravings by themselves, if mixed in with other foods like a biscuit and some sausage on the side, they can be the most vital ingredient to your meals. Egg whites are also essential if you're trying to lose weight, eggs are cheap, you can use the egg yolk for your cheat day to bake a cake or a few cupcakes, are nutritional, and did I mention cheap?

Most college students do not have much time to keep their body in the best physique and health, so I recommend a light jog for 30 minutes, three or four times a week. This will help your cardiovascular health and also keep the pounds off, unless you're doing some excessive eating. They can even lose weight in the midst of it, just following some pointers from my previous post on Easy Diets: Losing Weight Quick and Easy. Try not to eat after 10PM, most of time it will activate binge eating, which is what you don't want if you're trying to lose weight.
